Customer's Fault Description
+/- volume buttons not effective unless you stand close to unit, also speaker selection buttons the same you have to be close to unit. These faults are intermittent but have recently got much worse.

 

This Bose Lifestyle surround sound system controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish functionality on certain buttons.  On opening the issue was found to be caused by contamination on the button array, this contamination was removed and full functionality was restored.
