On/Off switch doesn't work, red light with higher and lower still works

 

This Dungs fireplace controller arrived safely from the Netherlands and on testing was confirmed to have faulty power buttons.

On opening there was some contamination found on the board around the button contacts, the board was cleaned up and full functionality was restored.
