Customer's Fault Description
With new batteries fitted, both the the receiver and transmitter buttons illuminate. However whilst the remote will adjust the flame height up, it will not reduce it. The fault is exactly as outlined on your website in Job Time line Ref 1828-2146. The RECEIVER is a Mertik Maxitrol G30-ZRRS.
This remote and receiver arrived safely, on testing the remote was sending a correct signal on both channels therefore the problem was with the receiver.
The issue was caused by a faulty 40khz crystal, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
