Customer's Fault Description
For a good year the remote buttons are not fully working, i can turn on / off ok but i can not turn Volume up/down. Screen lights up ok and i can scroll through sound options and select ok but that's about it ,It did work (the volume) for a couple of day recently then stopped again .
This SONY AV RECEIVER (STR-DB1070) controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have various faulty buttons.
On opening this was found to be due to a tiny break in the print which was causing much of the button array to be open circuit. The print was reworked and full functionality was restored.
