Customer's Fault Description
remote control does not power on.
This gas fire controller arrived safely and on inspection the case battery cover was held on by tape and part of the casing was missing (see image). When some of the buttons were pressed there was no contact.
When opened the issue was found to be due to 2 broken mounting points for the PCB. This was causing the board to move around inside the case and the buttons not to make contact.
The only option was to replace the entire case, please note that the replacement case is branded Gazco instead of faber, this does not effect functionality.
