Denon RC-868 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : There is nothing at all, not even a digital display (which this unit has)

 

This amp control arrived safely and on inspection there were signs of battery leakage inside the battery compartment.  When the remote was opened the leakage had traversed all over the print (see image) and caused a high amount of corrosion, due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.
