Customers Fault Description : remote apparatus fell down on the floor and stopped its further functioning. On/ Off button remains dead. Replacing batteries did not help.
Receiver unit built in into the hearthfireunit remained intact.
This natural gas hearthfire controller arrived safely from Belgium and on testing was confirmed to be dead
This is a common issue caused by components dislodging themselves from the pcb. Luckily the transistor that had dislodged from the board was still inside the control and therefore was able to be resoldered.
