Customer's Fault Description
Flame up control not working and 9 volt battery lead damaged

 

This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a badly damaged battery cable, this was replaced and on testing was confirmed also to have a faulty up channel.  This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal.  A replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
