Customer's Fault Description
All the buttons on the remote are fully functional but the display on the remote is not working.

 

This TV remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery terminals showed signs of leakage.

On testing the display was erratic and non readable.  On opening the issue was found to be battery corrosion on many parts of the board including the displays ribbon cable connector.

 

Sadly due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.
