Intermittent fault with the remote control. Sometimes to make it work, I have to remove the battery compartment and wiggle the battery wires around

 

This Royal caravan motor mover remote arrived safely and was confirmed to have intermittent power when a battery was added.

This was found to be due to a faulty battery cable / clip.  A replacement was fitted and also the power switch was cleaned using switch cleaner and full functionality was restored.
