Mertik Maxitrol G30 ZRHSO Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Ive changed the batteries in both the remote control and the transmitter and it only operates 'down' but will not operate 'up'.

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote it was found to be only transmitting intermittently on one channel.

On inspecting the receiver a major issue was found.  The battery compartment showed signs of a leakage and corrosion.  Unfortunately this corrosion had spread onto the main PCB causing corrosion through various components (see images).  Due to the amount of damage a repair has been deemed not possible.
