Mertik Maxitrol G30-ZRRS Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Receiver doesn't receive!

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection there were problems found in both the remote and the receiver which had been caused by battery corrosion (see images).  The remote is repairable as the cable will need replacing but sadly the receiver is beyond repair.  The corrosion has traversed down from the battery block and onto the PCB causing a large amount of print / component damage.

Because of this the repair has been classed as beyond repair.
