Customer's Fault Description
Remote went through wash, no longer working....opened and noticed a tiny component from circuit board loose in case...I have left this inside the remote, and sealed this in the bag, but please take care as it is tiny! Many thanks Simon
This garage door remote arrived safely and on inspection there was a capacitor taped inside that had become loose, also the button contacts had contamination on them due to the water damage.
The board was given an alcohol clean and the capacitor refitted but the remote was then intermittent. All joints were resoldered and normal functionality was restored.
