Customer's Fault Description
Remote messages electronic control box in engine room which can also be controlled by a fixed micro switch wired panel. Remote did work successfully but now as soon as batteries are inserted red light next to "OUT" switch comes on. If remote is on the boat relays start operating without touching remote panel. Can see no way of checking link code between devices. Original set up procedure was to take remote close to control box and press any control which then seemed to activate connection on all functions.
This Boat Passarelle/ crane controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be permanently transmitting when a power source was added. The problem was with the button array, this was peeled and split and the issue was found to be water contamination / corrosion. The array was reworked and full functionality was restored. Please note that this remote is not waterproof and great care must be taken.
