Remote stopped to function, despite serveral battery replacements.

 

This canton control arrived safely from Sweden and on testing was confirmed not to be responding from any button press.

When the device was opened one of the battery terminals was found to be broken due to a badly fitted battery which had bent the terminal.  A new terminal was fitted and full functionality was restored.
