Customers Fault Description : It goes backwards but the button to move forwards and 2 forward twisting buttons don’t work
This caravan motor mover remote arrived safely and on initial inspection there were cracks around the button pads, the battery cover was missing and the case was not secured together.
On adding a power source there was actually no signal at all being emitted from the control, this was due to the aerial cable becoming detached which is probably because of the case not being secured together. This was resoldered back on which returned the signal.
As the buttons have cracks around them the facia was peeled back and the issue with non functioning buttons was found to be due to corrosion of the tracks. The tracks were reworked and full functionality was restored. Please note that this remote is not waterproof so care must be taken when using and storing.
