Customer's Fault Description

got wet

This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was found to not be responding on all buttons, a hard press would actuate the top 2 buttons but this was intermittent.

On opening there was contamination found over the button array, the board was given an alcohol clean which restored the button press functionality and also removed some contaminants from the small IC.

The case was cleaned as the parcel tape had deteriorated onto it.
