Gazco Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : + Button not working, display shows that the remote is operating but the signal isn’t getting to the receiver.
This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting. On opening a few issues were found, the first was the up button had contamination around its base, a replacement button was fitted. Also the US transducer was faulty, a replacement was fitted and functionality was restored but the up channel was intermittent, this was due to a faulty 40.5 crystal which was replaced.
