Customer's Fault Description
The remote just stopped working, I have change the cell battery but it still appears dead.

 

This radio remote control arrived safely and on initis inspection the control rattled when shaken.

The control was tested and there was no infra red signal being emitted from the control on any button press.

The item was opened and the reason for the "rattle" was that a weight had broken loose from its housing, this was causing it to move freely inside the control effectively shorting out points on the board.  This was glued back in pace and also the resonator replaced.  Full functionality was restored.
