Velux 3LR A01 WW Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Completely dead.

 

This Remote Velux window system controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be powering up.

On opening there were a few SMD components that had broken free from their solder points, sadly due to a lack of schematic it is not possible to know the value of the components missing.  This is a common issue due to weak solder joints being so fragile that a sharp knock renders the controller inoperable.

Sadly a repair is not possible on this handset.

 

This handset was disposed of on the 31st May 2018 as per the customers request.
