Customer's Fault Description

This remote is for an electric awning for a house ee own in Grance. It doesnt work at all. Last summer we changed the battery as it was corroded. Worked after battery change but doesnt work now. No manual override for awning.

This garden awning controller arrived safely and on inspection one of the battery terminals was badly tarnished due to a previous battery leakage. This was causing a high resistance to the battery meaning that the power was being limited and causing it to be inoperable.

The terminal was cleaned up and then coated with conductive pain, this restored full functionality.
