Customers Fault Description : Nothing is working put new batteries in it
This Philips television controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing (this cannot be replaced)
On adding a power source the remote was confirmed to be dead. When opened there was a large amount of sticky liquid over the PCB. This was cleaned off and a few breaks in the print were found where the liquid had corroded the tracks. The print was reworked and full functionality was restored.
