Customers Fault Description : IR does not work even with new batteries
This ceiling fan / light controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on all button presses but when the remote was moved then the signal would disappear.
On opening a component test was carried out and it was found that the oscillator was intermittent, when tapped it would cause the remote to stop functioning. A replacement was fitted and normal functionality was restored.
