Most of buttons do not work I discussed this with Martin Smith on the phone last week

 

This bathroom TV control arrived safely and on inspection the facia was detached from the pcb and foild was covering most of the button array which was glued in place.

The Board was tested and found to have a few faulty buttons, this was caused by a few corrosion points in the print (see image).  The board was repaired which restored functionality.

The facia is not available as a spare and therefore a hack had to be carried out to repair the damage caused by the foil placement, first the foil was removed and as much of the hard glue as possible.  Then a 2nd set of buttons were fitted in place under the original facia.  Due to the glue on the top facia some buttons are required to be pressed firmly to make contact.  All buttons are now functioning.
