Customer's Fault Description
when changing the battery the battery holder came off one side, tried to solder but we could only guess where it had to go so post soldering it will still not work
This roller brake tester controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on any button press, the device was opened and the battery holder was confirmed to be correctly repaired.
A component test was carried out but no issue could be found it was then concluded that the main IC was the cultprit which is sadly not available as a spare. Because of this no repair could be carried out.
