Panasonic Viera Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : It just doesnt work the baby was bouncing it round the living room and it just stopped working.when I opened it up a piece did fall out of it some sort of capacitor i think
This Panasonic controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing and the casing had signs of it being opened (scratches around the seal).
On opening the crystal oscillator was found to be missing, luckily i had another here to identify the frequency of a replacement oscillator, a new one was fitted and full functionality was restored. The battery cover is not available as a spare and therefore cannot be replaced.
