Customer's Fault Description
The remote controls are completely dead. I have changed the batteries and cleaned the battery terminals but this has not made any difference
These 2 control arrived safely and the first unusual shaped control was dead, once opened there was a large amount of corrosion on the PCB, this was not repairable.
The second control, the rectangular one was also found to be dead. There was a few burnt resistors and a capacitor as well as a dead IR LED all were replaced and full functionality was restored.
A cloned controller was supplied at a cost of £25 as per the customers request.
