Customer's Fault Description
Rusty and corroded battery terminal.
This Air cooler, fan and heater controller arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have all of its battery terminals very badly corroded.
On opening the control the corrosion was also found to be on various parts of the PCB, the IR LED had a corroded leg as well as the crystal oscillator. Both were replaced and the terminals replaced and full functionality was restored.
