Customer's Fault Description
Its frequently unresponsive and particularly the ones we use which are the off, aux, cd, volumes up and down.

 

This Bose surround system controller arrived safely and was confirmed to have sluggish buttons.

On opening a couple of issues were found.  The first issue was contamination over the button array and PCB, this was removed by giving the board an alcohol bath, the second issue was a cracked solder joint on the RF coil which was resoldered.
