Unit does not power up

 

This shower controller arrived safely and on initial testing both displays lit up (showing service 01 which is to be expected when it doesnt find a receiver)

The item was opened and there was a few points of contamination due to water vapor inside the control, this was removed using alcohol, but no corrosion points were found.  After further inspection the smaller display had a small crack around on of its pins.

The display was removed and the crack was found to be more lengthy and under a little pressure totally destroyed the display.

A replacement display was fitted.  

Please note that the full functionality must be tested by the customer on return as we are limited to the functionality we can see with not having a receiver present on our premises.
