Customers Fault Description : Cracked remote, possible cracked circuit board nothing working, buttons broken but still have them
This stereo control arrived safely and on inspection the casing was split across the top causing an extreme bend to the main board.
A new case and PCB has been ordered and upon its arrival will be fitted and tested.
The new case that was ordered turned out to be a complete remote. This new remote is actually for a DVD player but the PCB is identical to the customers except the IC is different, the IC was taken off the broken board and fitted onto the new control which gave it the functions of the customers controller.
The DVD remote case was then fitted, this has a different labled button layout therefore please use the image below to identify which button does what function.
