This caravan mover control arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to be functioning as normal.  The device was inspected to see if there was a reason for any intermittent issues but no problem could be found.  This has deemed this item as "no fault found"

It may be possible that the control simply needs "pairing" with the relevant receiver
