Customers Fault Description : REMOTE IS NOT FUNCTIONING. FLAME EFFECT OF THE FIRE IS NOW PERMANENTLY ON. EQUIPMENT DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE REMOTE TO SWITHCH OFF OR ALTER THE FLAME EFFECT DISPLAY. NEW BATTERIES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN THE REMOTE TO NO EFFECT
This Built in flame effect electric fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting a signal on any button press.
This issue was found to be due to a faulty crystal oscillator. A replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
