Customer's Fault Description
Suddenly all buttons including torch stopped working. Problem not battery nor child lock, but good battery drained when left in controller for a few days.
This remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed not to be powering on.
On opening a third battery terminal was loose inside the handset. This terminal was inside the control since its build and has not been soldered. Sadly this terminal has shorted out all over the board as it moved around, a component test was carried out but the conclusion was that the main IC was at fault. This has deemed a repair not possible.
THIS ITEM WAS SCRAPPED ON REQUEST BY THE CUSTOMER. 12TH Aug 2018
