This AV Receiver Remote arrived safely and on testing the volume function was not responding.

On opening the issue was found to be due to contamination over the volume area of the button array (see image).  The PCB was given an alcohol bath to remove all contaminants and the keypad cleaned.

Full normal functionality was restored.
