Standby button not working, can't switch soundbase on
This Canton control arrived safely and on testing was found to be responding on all buttons.
The device was opened and after talking to the customer it was decided to change the oscillator and IR led which are common issues on this control. When attempting to replace these items the true issue was revealed. When the keypad was removed from the PCB there was contamination found over the power button contacts, there was also a little contamination over the volume button.
The contamination was removed and the oscillator and IR LED replaced.
