This Scrolling Message Board Controller arrived safely and on inspection there were signs of an attempted opening on the outer seam.

On adding a power source the control was confirmed not to be sending a signal on any button press.

When opened the issue was found to be due to a break in the print caused by PCB warping.  The print was reworked and full functionality was restored.
