Customers Fault Description : It will not switch on properly. Switch-on is a double press of the On button and there is a faulty connection somewhere, I can hear the control box clicking but the push button light will not stay on.
This caravan mover control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have an intermittent power on function.
On opening a test was carried out and the power contacts were reading high in resistance. The facia was peeled back and there was moisture contamination under a few of the buttons, probably due to condensation.
The facia was cleaned up and dried out which restored normal functionality. It is important to store this item in a dry area to prevent future issues.
