Customer's Fault Description
One controller stopped working some time ago, even though battery replaced. We have used the second one for some years now. About a year ago, it was repaired by one of your competitors. It has now stopped working, but I am unable to undo the screw securing the back, to see if the battery needs changing.
Please repair both if possible.
These 2 garage door controllers arrived safely and on testing both were non functioning.
The first control was found to have a pin missing from its IC (See image), this was repaired which restored functionality.
The second control had its battery housing disconnected from the PCB in 2 places meaning no power was getting to the board. The battery housing was soldered back into place and full functionality was restored.
