Signal failure in one or both units. Handset LED lights as expected, receiver LED does not.

 

This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting, this was due to a faulty transducer in the handset.  A replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
