Customer's Fault Description
handsets working receivers not
These fire remotes and receivers arrived safely and on inspection both receivers had signs of battery leakage in the battery block. Both were replaced which restored functionality to one of the receivers. The other receiver was tested further and the crystals were replaced but still it had no signs of powering on (occasionally it would spark to life on the up channel, but this was not consistent)
It was then concluded that the faulty receiver was beyond repair.
The two controls were tested as working.
