Customer's Fault Description
Remote is not working and No response is recieved on the control unit.
The control unit has power as the LED comes on.
Have changed batteries on remote.
This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a deformed shell due to melting.
On testing no signal could be replicated and either button press. This was found to be due to 2 issues, the first was that the battery block was broken this was repaired. The buttons themselves had become high in resistance making them intermittent, these were cleaned up and full functionality was restored.
