Sony RM-SSD1 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote stopped working
This Sony system controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting. The battery compartment had signs of a battery leakage.
When opened the leakage was found to have traversed onto the main PCB and started corroding parts of the print. The print was reworked and the terminals cleaned up which restored full functionality.
