Just doesn't work!

 

This Panasonic remote for a  Portable Stereo CD System RX-DT5 system arrived safely and on testing was found to be very intermittent in functionality.

When opened this issue was found to be due to a broken battery connection that was making a very unstable connection.

The terminal was resoldered firmly which restored normal functionality.
