Customer's Fault Description
Nothing seems to be working. Ive replaced the batteries but it hasn't made a difference.

 

This Bose controller arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to illuminate the LCD but no characters were shown and also no signal was being emitted on any button press.

On opening there were signs of a battery leakage (see image), this leakage had started to corrode parts of the print.  The print was tested for conductibility but as this is double sided print an issue with the print could not be found.  It has therefore been concluded that the fault may be caused by a faulty main IC (Possibly blown due to over voltage from the battery leakage)

Sadly due to the amount on damage a repair is not possible.
