Customer's Fault Description
The stud on the bit that connected to the battery broke off, my son bodged it which actually worked until the buttons stopped working. The battery cover is held with tape but I can live with that.

 

This verine fire control arrived safely and on inspection the buttons were sluggish / non responsive and also the battery cable was faulty.

All buttons and battery cable was replaced and full functionality was restored.
