Customer's Fault Description
Not turning tv on,took battery out and replaced and still not working.

 

This TV control arrived safely and on testing was transmitting when the battery cover was not in place and ceased to functiona when sealed peoperly.

On opening the issue was due to water contamination inside that was shorting when pressure was applied to the PCB (i.e. when the battery cover was closed) 

The contamination was removed which restored normal functionality.  Please note that this item is not waterproof and great care must be taken to prevent future damage.
