Customer's Fault Description
The main cable is disconnected and the battery connector wires seem to be faulty as well

 

This motor mover controller arrived safely and on opening the ribbon cable was found to be detached from the PCB. This was reattached but the remote still did not respond from the power button.

This was found to be a faulty battery clip / cable, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
