No light or sound checked batteries still didnt work

 

This truma control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to power on.  The controller was cut open and the issue was found to be due to a faulty switch and PCB mounting clip.  The PCB was glued back into place and the switch replaced which restored full functionality.
