Fire RCS-01C Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote control does not work (even with new batteries) with my electric fireplace.
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing some of the buttons had intermittent response.
On opening the issue was found to be due to contamination over the button array, this was cleaned up and the oscillator changed as a precaution. Full functionality was restored.
